Ran from home. Coronavirus route again, through the industrial park and around horner. Somehow got 6.5 miles. Legs are still feeling pretty beat, but that's what I get for taking two weeks off. Had 26 miles for the last 7 days, so I'll try to get up around 45 miles the next 7 day stretch, which should put me about 40 for the week starting on Monday. This is the week I need to start doing the extras too, now that running is picking up into a serious post-grad hobby

quick run through the neighborhood before dinner. Ran a potential 5k route through my neighborhood. It's pretty tortuous though. There's a lot of repeat running but 3 0.45 mile straightaways that are done 6 times in total. Those straights are the reason i like that course. I might try to do a 5k time trial in a while if i can get fit enough and if i can get good shoes for it. I have flats with me but ideally I'd get a pair of vaporflys for this.

Felt pretty good until about 8 miles in. My hip started hurting the day after this one, like a slight hip flexor strain. Called the boys during this run. Zoom was pretty annoying, so I ended up going on mute for most of the time. I tried to get onto the lakefront multiple times on this run but was unable to get through the police blockade.

Ran during a big beautiful thunderstorm. Cleared up after 2 miles or so. Gorgeous clouds and no people... Wish it was like this every day.

Exercises seem to be working a little bit. Hip is feeling better. I think I might be changing my form to protect the hip but as long as its not causing other problems I am down!
